WebJan 15, 2024 · The Porchboard is meant to be played through a subwoofer or bass amp. I use mine with a Fender Rumble 100 bass amp with the mid and treble all the way down. The Porchboard website also provides some recommendations for subs, etc. Keep the volume set where the Porchboard is felt more than heard by the audience. Have fun! WebJul 7, 2024 · I just repaired a similar Alesis pedal for our drummer there is a little striker that hits a piezoelectric sensor, the amplitude of the pulse is tracked by the module. His issue was the solder joint on the sensor. I really think that unless you use an actual drum pedal & module the only workable solution is bass pedals. Or a porchboard.
