WebNov 22, 2007 · Recently acquired a Browning high power that was issue to the Belgian police. Everything is standard except it has an alloy frame. The pistol is in excellent condition and has no unusual markings except for magazine which is police marked. I was not aware FN made an alloy frame Hi power. Anyone experience these? Every gun I have seen from 1966-1968 had the year before the L and a SN between 35000 and 45999 (i.e. 8L45123).
